A Las Vegas man appeared in court earlier this week after driving the wrong way on the highway.  He told the judge that he did it for Dale Earnhardt Sr.  Daniel Asseff, who has prior DUI convictions, is accused of trying to run over pedestrians and hit other cars with his car.

From News3LV:

Prosecutors told the judge that Asseff was intentionally trying to run over pedestrians and hit other cars.

Asseff is facing multiple charges including attempted murder, battery and DUI.

His other DUI convictions came in 2016 and 2020.

The judge called the allegations disturbing, and this was Asseff’s response to driving the wrong way on the 215.

“That was for Dale Earnhardt Sr., the Intimidator. Told me to open that for racetrack for NASCAR and Indy car racing if approved by Mayor Goodman for twice a year. They want that use that as a Grand Prix racetrack to open it wrong way backward,” Asseff said in court.

This guy is going through some shit.  Hopefully the next time he's visited by the Intimidator, he receives some better advice.  Otherwise things could get out of hand again.
