Jaguars Hire Former Eagles Head Coach Doug Pederson

After failing to land Byron Leftwich, who removed himself from consideration, the Jaguars decided to hire former Eagles head coach Doug Pederson as their next head coach.

Former Eagles’ HC Doug Pederson is being hired as the next head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars, source tells ESPN.

The Jaguars really screwed this up.  They had Byron Leftwich ready and willing to become their head coach and they let the former Jaguars first-round pick slip through their fingers.

They then went to the head coaching trash heap and hired Doug Pederson.  As if hiring Urban Meyer wasn't enough evidence that they don't know what they're doing in Jacksonville.
