Adam Schefter and ESPN may have jumped the gun on the Tom Brady retirement news. It's been hours since they reported that the 44-year-old was going to retire.
Brady hasn't yet made that announcement himself and it might not come. Not this year anyway.
There are now reports that Brady has called the Buccaneers front office to tell them he hasn't made up his mind yet. His father weighed in as well and called the retirement news an "unsubstantiated rumor."
This has been handled clumsily at best. But Tom Brady is the only one who will speak for Tom Brady. Now his agent has said as much. Brady has told Bucs GM Jason Licht within the hour he’s undecided. So we wait for HIS official decision. https://t.co/6GtdgNCutU

Don't put it past Tom Brady to say fuck you media and play another season. I still think there's a good chance he retires, but you never know. Dude is coming off of an MVP caliber season.
