UFC fighter Vanessa Demopoulos quit her job as a stripper six to eight weeks before stepping into the octagon at UFC 270 last weekend.  Her complete focus on mixed martial arts paid off.

She won her first fight and earned a $50,000 performance of the night bonus.  That on top of the $24,000 she earned for the fight made for a decent night of work.

Here's what she had to say during her post-fight interview, "I don’t think it’s a secret, I was an exotic entertainer for 13 years.  And I didn’t actually say it on the mic, but I'd like to say it right now: I walked away from being a stripper to continue this camp.  I quit dancing about six to eight weeks ago just so I could focus full-time on MMA, take this extremely seriously in the gym every single day."

I'd say she made the right decision to quit stripping.  I don't care how good you are at taking your clothes off in front of strangers, you're not pulling in almost $75,000 in one night of work.
