Calvin Ridley Could Be Looking for a “Fresh Start” on Another Team

Calvin Ridley stepped away from the Falcons during the season to focus on his mental health.  Now that the season is coming to an end for the Falcons the wide receiver is likely trying to figure out his next steps.

People around the league are beginning to question Ridley's future in Atlanta.  NFL Network reporter Steve Wyche thinks both sides could be looking for a "fresh start."

That concept is now gaining momentum, with respected NFL Network reporter Steve Wyche telling our friends at on the "Dukes and Bell'' show that he agrees with the notion that "Ridley's future with the team is in jeopardy.''

Said Wyche: “I’d think so. The fact that he and the team have been so quiet and he hasn’t surfaced, it appears like both sides could be looking for a fresh start.”

You certainly can't blame Ridley for wanting out of Atlanta.  Nobody, especially a young star, wants to be part of some massive rebuilding project that isn't showing many signs of being a contender anytime soon.
