Is there anything better than a salty head coach? I can't think of anything (well maybe a couple of things).
Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer was particularly salty on Sunday night after getting his ass handed to him by the Packers. Backup quarterback Sean Mannion was on the field because Kirk Cousins tested positive for COVID, with rookie quarterback Kellen Mond seeing the field for a drive due to an injury to Mannion.
The loss bounced Minnesota from the playoffs but that doesn't mean Zimmer, who is on the hot seat, wants to see any more of Mond on the field. He was having none of it during his salty postgame press conference.
Does Mike Zimmer want to see Kellen Mond next week in the season finale?
“Not particularly.”
Why?
“I see him everyday.”

I love it. The saltier the response the better. Zimmer was as salty as ever on Sunday. The boat is sinking, you might as well hold on and go down with it.
