The Hornets fan who took the errant Christian Wood pass to the face did an interview with Inside Edition (looking for an ambulance chaser?). She says that she won't be able to return to work after suffering a hairline fracture and a concussion.
On top of that she wants a personal apology from Wood. She didn't appreciate the announcer laughing at her, or Wood making fun of his pass on social media.
From Inside Edition:
“I got hit so hard in the head, I honestly had no idea what happened,” Fitz told Inside Edition. “When I stood up I was disoriented and my ears were ringing.”
She said her vision also went black. Fitz ended up in the emergency room with a concussion and a hairline fracture in her cheekbone. She also had swelling and red marks on her face, she said.
Fitz said her doctor told her that she won’t be able to return to work for three weeks. Fitz said she was also upset about what she said was the reaction to her injury.
Christian Wood accidentally threw a ball out of bounds and hit a Charlotte woman in the face.
Now, she’s demanding an apology.

She wants a personal apology? She has a fractured cheekbone from a basketball and can't work for three weeks because of a concussion? None of this is adding up.
First, Wood doesn't owe her an apology. It's crazy that she thinks she needs a personal apology. The ball going into the stands can happen at any time, you have to pay attention to the action on the floor. But that's not the craziest part to me.
The craziest part is the hairline fracture and that she needs to miss three weeks of work. Are her bones made of eggshell? Is her finance job a contact sport?
