Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool was benched in the first quarter of Thursday night's loss to the Vikings after an unnecessary roughness penalty. He later wasted time celebrating a first down on the final drive of the game.
After the game quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was asked about Claypool's antics. He made it clear that he wasn't amused by it. He also made it clear that it wasn't his job to deal with player issues.
Roethlisberger on Claypool: "It’s not really my job. To me, that goes up to Coach Tomlin. That’s what he needs to do. That’s his job as the head coach. As the QB, it’s my job to help manage what we do on the field .. Dealing w/ player issues ... that’s the coach’s job, not mine. pic.twitter.com/BFbjlrbp8V

He's not wrong. It sounds like Big Ben isn't just fed up with Claypool's antics. It sounds like he's a little upset with Mike Tomlin for continuing to allow his players to get away with these types of things.
