Vikings RB Dalvin Cook Talks About Everson Griffen’s Situation, Doesn’t Know Why His Name Was Mentioned in the Video

Vikings defensive end Everson Griffen called the police in the early morning hours on Wednesday saying someone was in his home trying to kill him.  He also posted a video on social media of himself waving a gun around.  He appeared to be in the middle of some sort of mental break.

Griffen brought up his teammate Dalvin Cook's name in the video claiming the Vikings running back had helped him get the gun he was holding.  Cook talked about Griffen's situation with the media on Wednesday.

While voicing concern and support for Griffen, Cook also said he didn't know why his name was brought up during the concerning video.

One thing is clear from the video, if Griffen was truly alone thinking people were trying to kill him, then he shouldn't be in possession of a gun.  His teammates shouldn't be helping him get one either.
