Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown, who missed a game earlier this season because he tested positive for COVID-19, has been accused of obtaining a fake COVID-19 vaccination card.
The accusation comes from his former live-in chef Steven Ruiz. He has also accused AB of failing to pay him $10,000, something the wealthy NFL player has been accused of in the past.
According to Ruiz, he was approached by AB's girlfriend, model Cydney Moreau, about getting him a fake Johnson & Johnson vaccination card. In text messages provided by the chef there was an offer of $500 made if he was able to do so.
Ruiz did not get AB and his girlfriend the vaccination cards, but says AB showed him some fake vaccination cards days before Bucs training camp started.
From Tampa Bay Times:
Bucs receiver Antonio Brown obtained a fake COVID-19 vaccination card so he could avoid NFL protocols, according to his former live-in chef.
Brown’s girlfriend, model Cydney Moreau, told Los Angeles chef Steven Ruiz in a text message July 2 that Brown was willing to pay $500 if he could get a Johnson & Johnson vaccination card.
That doesn't sound like the Antonio Brown we all know and love. For the record AB's lawyer has denied the claims. Who's telling the truth? We may never know for sure.
But if AB did obtain a fake COVID-19 vaccination card the NFL would hand down some sort of punishment. Also that would mean there are likely others who obtained them as well.
At least AB didn't take a WHO listed essential medicine when he tested positive, that would be criminal.
