The NFL concluded their investigation into whether the Packers violated the league's COVID-19 protocols. The results of that investigation were fines for the team and for Aaron Rodgers and Allen Lazard.
The Packers received a $300,000 fine while Rodgers and Lazard were each fined $14,650. The violations were for Rodgers not wearing a mask during press conferences and the team not reporting that Rodgers and Lazard attended a Halloween party.
From ESPN:
They were fined for violations of the protocols that were jointly agreed upon by the NFL and the NFL Players Association.
The source said the Packers' cooperation with the investigation was taken into consideration, but the team was warned that future violations could result in increased discipline, including possible change in draft position or loss of draft choice.
I'm really glad we got that important investigation behind us. Now we can move forward to things like watching the Packers kick the crap out of the NFC North only to blow it in the playoffs when they play a good team.
That's been so much fun over the last couple of years. If there's any extra time we can try to figure out what the hell is wrong with Stephen King....
