Is Cooper Rush Dallas' quarterback of the future?
Dak Prescott made the trip to Minnesota for Sunday Night Football, but didn't take the field. The Cowboys realized they were playing Kirk Cousins and the Vikings and decided to give his calf strain some extra rest.
Backup Cooper Rush got the nod for the Cowboys and outplayed Cousins. He threw for 325 yards and two touchdowns, including the game winner late in the game. The Cowboys are now 6-1 and might just be legit.
It was a fitting end to Sunday's slate of NFL games, which turned out to be a big day for backup quarterbacks. The Vikings really know how to make a quarterback look good.

The Cowboys could have won that game with Dak on one leg, but why risk further injury when you have a guy who hasn't thrown a pass since 2017? He can kick the shit out of the Vikings just as easily as Dak can.
