Jameis Winston left his first start against his former team early after injuring his left knee. The Saints quarterback was pulled down from behind by a Buccaneers defender causing his knee to bend awkwardly.
I hope Jameis Winston is ok…🙏🏽

#Saints QB Jameis Winston carted off the field now. Winston got hurt following the Devin White horse collar tackle. After taking a few steps he fell to the ground while being assisted by the staff. Spent some time in medical tent with multiple teammates checking on him. pic.twitter.com/oIWxbOJriR

Obviously being carted to the locker room and ruled out for the rest of the game isn't a good sign for Winston.
The injury forced the Saints fourth string quarterback Trevor Siemian into action. Both Taysom Hill and Ian Book are inactive on Sunday.
