ESPN's Adam Schefter caught some heat after his emails to former GM Bruce Allen were leaked along with Jon Gruden's. He didn't say anything close to what the former Raiders head coach did, but Schefter's journalistic ethics have been called into question.
Schefter sent a story surrounding the 2011 NFL lockout to Allen to review before he published it. This was surprising to many, not to Jenn Sterger. She has firsthand experience with Schefter and his questionable journalistic practices.
If you remember, and of course do, Jenn was the Jets employee that Brett Favre sent a dick pic to. She explains how her interaction with Schefter went down.
Next report update from him: “Ms. Sterger says this is untrue.”
Me again: “No, no.. Adam, quote me next time.”

There are journalists & there are pawns.. learn the difference when digesting any kind of media. There’s people out there doing honest work & there’s others just out doing peoples bidding.

I know there are some people who can't believe that Schefter would go against journalistic standards and run a story by an NFL executive. But it's been whispered about for years that the NFL insider is more of a PR representative for the league than an insider. Or as Jenn puts it a pawn.
