LSU’s New Passing Attack Features a Backwards Pass

SJ - September 5, 2021

The 2021 version of the LSU Tigers came into their first game on Saturday night ranked 16th.  They didn't look much like a ranked team as they took on UCLA.

The LSU offense had a hard time during the 38-27 loss protecting quarterback Max Johnson.  He even at one point attempted one of the worst passes you'll ever see.

Johnson was running for his life with his back to the line of scrimmage and tossed up a backwards pass.

It might be another long season for the Tigers.  A backwards passing attack isn't going to result in many wins.
