The NFL isn't playing around when it comes to their COVID protocols. They're monitoring mask use for unvaccinated players and making sure players are wearing their tracking devices.
On Thursday it was reported that the league had fined 25 players for mask and tracking device violations. In addition to the fines, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported that another 120 players received warnings.
The NFL has sent written warnings to roughly 120 players leaguewide and fined 25 players for refusal to wear a mask and/or Kinexon tracking device since the start of training camp, per source. All fined $14,650, the standard amount for a first offense under NFL-NFLPA protocols.

The NFL wants to pull off another season with very little interruptions to their rigorous schedule. I get that. I also know that the players are in a group of individuals that are at a very low risk of complications due to COVID.
Some would argue that the sport they participate in is more of a risk to their health than catching COVID.
