OLYMPICS
SJ - August 4, 2021
Athletes have apparently been crossing the line with female reporters covering the Olympics. According to NFL on FOX reporter Laura Okmin, female reporters are being hit on and invited to athletes rooms.
Okmin says she's received "way too many" messages from female reporters about athletes mistreating them after being denied by the reporters.
She added that they're sharing names and the days of protecting athletes who behave like this are over.
(as they are above me) when I deny them. Do you have advice on how to keep my confidence up?” ENOUGH. Stop putting women in this position. We are sharing stories and names. We know who you are. The old days of protecting you are over - we are now protecting each other.

Ladies, don’t go through this alone. Lean on a mentor (DM’s open) and your sisters. Don’t let anyone get into your head and touch your confidence. Share your stories. You have a support system of women who have navigated this - lean into that.

And finally. If you’re wondering if this tweet is about you…. It is.

Oh boy. It looks like we've got something big brewing in Tokyo. It sounds like athletes are going to be named in what is sure to be a huge story.
