American BMX racer Connor Fields was taken to the hospital on Friday after being knocked out during the semifinals of his race in the Tokyo Summer Games. He went down hard after his bike got tangled up with another rider.
Connor stayed down before being stretchered off the track. He is still in the hospital for further medical evaluation.
BMX racing is brutal.

As most of you saw in today's BMX race, @connorfields11 suffered from a crash in the third round of the semifinals.
We can confirm that he is awake, stable, and awaiting further medical evaluation. He will remain in the hospital under observation.

I wonder what the haters are going to say about Connor not finishing the race. We know how they love to sit on the couch eating junk food criticizing Olympic athletes.
