“The World’s Sexiest Athlete” Reportedly Turned Down Lucrative Playboy Deal

“The World’s Sexiest Athlete” Alica Schmidt is in Tokyo representing Germany in the 4x400m relay.  With the title the internet gave her it makes sense that she turns heads on social media for more than just her ability on the track.

That extra attention reportedly earned Alica a lucrative deal from Playboy.  A lucrative deal she decided to turn down in order to focus on her career.

Inevitably, being a sex symbol has meant that Schmidt is flooded with offers for photoshoots.

Playboy magazine approached her when her career was taking off to ask if she would be interested in posing nude.

Reports said Schmidt gave it some thought, with a lucrative deal on the table.

But ultimately she decided that it wouldn't have been beneficial for her career, and sport most certainly came first.

This is a little bit of a look back in time.  Remember when Playboy offers and appearances were all over the place?  Some say those were the days.  Maybe these kinds of offers are making a comeback.
