Sean Payton and former Miss West Virginia Skylene Montgomery are getting married in Mexico today. Reports surfaced earlier in the day that the Saints head coach and beauty pageant winner were tying the knot after an extended engagement.

Before the pandemic threw everything into turmoil, the couple had initially planned their ceremony for March of this year.

Montgomery is a former pageant queen who was selected as Miss West Virginia in 2008. She met Payton at a Saints-Panthers game when Montgomery was working as a nurse in Charlotte.

For all I know the wedding already happened. Either way congratulations are in order for Payton as he clearly outkicked his coverage here.

The answer is yes, an NFL head coach's salary is enough for a beauty queen to overlook the fact that you look like an old lady.
