Daryl Morey found himself at odds with the NBA last year for a tweet he sent in support of Hong Kong. On Monday his Twitter activity was back in the spotlight after he and the 76ers were each fined $75,000 by the NBA.
This time it was a two word tweet by the Sixers president of basketball operations that got him into trouble. Morey tweeted "join 'em" in response to Steph Curry giving his brother Seth a shoutout on Instagram.
Seth is a guard for the Sixers and that's a big fat no-no. Morey and the Sixers were fined for "violating the league’s anti-tampering rule."

Obviously Morey was joking with his tweet. Unfortunately for him, the NBA isn't going to cut him any slack, especially not after he pissed off their overlords with his support of Hong Kong.
