Nobody in Major League Baseball Can Hit, Corey Kluber Records the Sixth No-Hitter of the Season

Yankees pitcher Corey Kluber threw a no-hitter on Wednesday night against the Rangers.  It's the first no-hitter since David Cone's perfect game in 1999.

It's the latest in a rash of no-hitters this season.  It's the sixth no-hitter of the season and it's only May.  Kluber's no-no came just one day after Tigers pitcher Spencer Turnbull threw one against the Mariners.

It proves one thing.  Nobody in Major League Baseball can hit!

Even if nobody can hit, it's still a big accomplishment for the 35-year-old Kluber, who battled through injuries the past couple of seasons.  I guess he's not going to be the latest Kevin Brown.  As a Yankee fan I admit I was very skeptical of the signing given the Yankees track record with veteran pitchers.
