Buccaneers WR Antonio Brown Faces Another Civil Lawsuit Over Allegations of Assault and Battery

Antonio Brown has put a wild stretch from forcing his way out of Pittsburgh to being released by the Raiders and Patriots behind him.  He joined his buddy Tom Brady in Tampa and won a Super Bowl.

Despite the appearance of getting his career back on track, AB is still dealing with some off the field issues that occurred during his Steelers-Raiders-Patriots days.  On Wednesday he has a civil lawsuit filed against him.

The person who filed the lawsuit, a moving truck driver, was attacked by the Bucs wide receiver and his trainer while moving AB's belongings.

From Tampa Bay Times:

The driver, Anton Tumanov, moved Brown’s belongings from California to Hollywood, Fla. last year. When Tumanov arrived, he was “met with resistance and violence,” according to the lawsuit. Brown and his trainer, Glenn Holt, then attacked Tumanov’s vehicle and broke the key.

Brown and Holt “proceeded to verbally and physically attack (Tumanov), causing severe personal injuries.” The driver “continues to suffer severe bodily injuries, pecuniary losses, and mental anguish” from the incident, according to the suit.

Holt and Brown both face one count of battery and one count of assault in the lawsuit. Tumanov is seeking more than $30,000 in damages.

AB managed to navigate his way through a sexual assault lawsuit, in comparison this is nothing.  This might be a good thing.  He could play better with a lawsuit hanging over his head.
