Has there been more hype for a last place finish in the history of track and field? I doubt it...
D.K. Metcalf came, he saw, he finished in last place at the USATF Golden Games on Sunday with a time 10.36-second in the 100-meter heat.
The Seahawks wide receiver ran faster than most humans can, but not faster than the eight sprinters he was up against this weekend.
It was a great attempt, but there won't be any Olympic trials in Metcalf's future. Just interviews about a last place finish.
Great start for @Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf.
