Lil Nas X created a ton of controversy this weekend when he announced his new "Satan Shoes."  The custom Nikes are set to go on sale Monday morning and have a drop of blood in the sole.

The shoes are a collaboration between the artist and the streetwear company MSCHF.  666 pairs of the modified Nike Air Max 97s will be sold.

Plenty of people have spoken out against the shoes, including former Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence.  He responded to the controversial shoes on Twitter by saying a "line has to be drawn somewhere."

I don't know about you, but I always look to football players to define what is acceptable and what isn't.

So a guy is doing something outrageous to sell shoes.  It isn't the first time and it won't be the last.  It's pretty simple, if don't like them don't buy them.
