The G League conducted an investigation into Jeremy Lin's claims that he was called "coronavirus" by an opponent during a game. Lin refused to name the player and so has the league.
The G League said that they had identified the player who hurled the racial insult at Lin and would be handling the matter internally.

That's great. My only question is how come the unnamed player isn't being fed to the social media wolves? I thought that's how we handled things these days?
