The Panthers are rumored to be interested in trading for Texans disgruntled star quarterback Deshaun Watson. On Friday the team, who has the No. 8 overall pick in the upcoming draft, cleared a ton of cap space by waiving several players.
Those moves combined with rumblings that team owner David Tepper was unimpressed with Teddy Bridgewater's first season in Carolina, led to the team's current QB1 to unfollow the team and set his Instagram account to private.
These kinds of wild year-to-year swings are exactly what you get when you don't let your football people make football decisions. Tepper is playing Madden on franchise mode right now.
It rarely leads to any kind of sustainable success. Just ask the Redskins and the Cowboys. Both teams have complete football morons for owners making football decisions that should be made by others.
