Browns Players Cited for Drag Racing

The Cleveland Browns have set fire to the dumpsters outside of FirstEnergy Stadium again.  After putting out those fires by clinching a playoff spot and ending an 18 year drought, they're in full self-destruct mode.

On Tuesday wide receiver Rashard Higgins and left tackle Jedrick Wills Jr. were both cited for drag racing.  Add this to the COVID-19 outbreak that hit the team this week and all the odds are stacking up against them.

Attorney Kevin Spellacy, who is representing #Browns WR Rashard Higgins and LT Jedrick Wills Jr., tells me he’ll plead not guilty for both players on drag-racing charges Wednesday morning. It’s a first-degree misdemeanor punishable by up to 6 months and a $1,000 fine.

For his part Higgins tweeted and deleted a couple of jokes about the drag racing situation.  Nothing helps a situation out like making jokes on social media.

If the Browns win this game with all of this chaos leading up to it we might need to designate them as the team of destiny.  Given that God hates them it's highly unlikely that they beat the Steelers.
