The Jets can't even tank properly. For some reason they decided it was a good idea to win a game. They beat the Rams for their first win of the season and with it lost the No. 1 overall pick.
The team celebrated the win on social media. Jets fans didn't share in their enthusiasm. Fans knew that Trevor Lawrence was no longer coming to save their franchise.

This is the single lowest moment as a @nyjets fan. There was hope for the future. We are handed a franchise QB and we win a meaningless game. This is going to set the franchise back years. Lawrence was going to be our answer. Words can’t describe this pain

Way to go. You guys ruined the future of the franchise. 1-15 is no better than 0-16. All it does is ensure that we won’t get the most automatic college quarterback coming out in years. No jet fan is celebrating today. Same old jets disappointing the fans year after year

Conglaturation. You've buttfumbled your tank.
Trevor Lawrence downgrades to Justin Fields, barring a miracle.
Enjoy your Pyrrhic victory.

Do you actually think a single Jets fan is happy right now? How out of touch are you as an organization. Until the Johnson’s sell this team were screwed

This is incredible. Just when you think you've seen it all. The Jets won a meaningless game, lost out on Trevor Lawrence and the No. 1 pick then actually celebrated the win on social media.
It has to be extremely frustrating being a Jets fan.
