Former Ravens RB Lorenzo Taliaferro Died of a Suspected Heart Attack

Former Ravens running back Lorenzo Taliaferro died on Wednesday in Virginia. He was just 28.

Taliaferro spent four seasons with the Ravens before being released in 2017.

No cause of death was provided although a family member says he suffered a heart attack.

A spokesperson with the York County (Va) Sheriff's Office said Taliaferro was transported to a Williamsburg hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 3:30pm.

A cause of death was not provided, but a family member told me it was a heart attack.

Man, 28 is extremely young, especially for a heart attack. You feel for his family.

Taliaferro's football career might have been over but his life was just getting started.
