UNLV quarterback Max Gilliam apologized on Monday for eating sushi off of a nude model during an appearance on the reality TV show "Below Deck." The show aired last month and was reportedly filmed in Antigua in February and March.
In the episode Max and two of his friends chartered the boat that reality TV show is based on with their three girlfriends. Dinner on the boat the first night was served on a nude model.
From Yahoo! Sports:
Gilliam claims the sushi idea came from the show’s producers.
“I would like to apologize for my poor judgment while on the TV show ‘Below Deck’ and acknowledge that I have made a mistake that I will learn from. While it was not my idea nor any of my friends' ideas to eat sushi off of a model, I should have exercised better judgment and declined the idea immediately when it was brought up by the producers,” Gilliam said in a message posted to Twitter.
I'm a little confused as to why he had to apologize. I mean, who among us hasn't eaten food off of a nude body? Am I missing something here? It's not like he was caught eating food off of a hooker in an alley.
