Former Raiders linebacker Vontaze Burfict was arrested in Nevada early Saturday on a battery charge.  The details surrounding the arrest aren't yet known.

What is known is that the 30-year-old free agent has a very hard time following rules.  Probably because of the years of tackling with his head.

From ESPN:

Free-agent linebacker Vontaze Burfict was arrested early Saturday in Nevada on a misdemeanor battery charge, according to Clark County court records.

According to Clark County Detention Center records, Burfict was being held on $1,000 bond. A hearing in the case was set for Monday.

No information about the incident that led to Burfict's arrest was immediately available.

If the Raiders aren't willing to bring Burfict back after he was suspended for repeatedly taking people's heads off then you have to believe he's played in his last game in the NFL.

Thankfully he was able to get Antonio Brown's crazy button stuck before that happen.  We will forever be in his debt.
