Los Angeles Clippers guard Patrick Beverley has been fined $25,000 by the NBA for verbally abusing a referee at the end of Saturday’s Game 2 loss to the Denver Nuggets.

Beverley was ejected with just over a minute left in the game after being called for two fouls in four seconds of game time.

He strongly disagreed with the calls and quickly earned himself back-to-back technical fouls.

You take the good with the bad when it comes to Patrick Beverley.  His intensity is both a strength and weakness of his.

Sometimes he's going to get tossed for verbally abusing referees.  It's just part of his overall game.

The Clippers found out the hard way that the Nuggets aren't just going to lay down and let them run away with the series.
