There's tough love then there's if you don't stop walking lead-off batters I'm filing for divorce love. Red Sox reliever Robert Stock found out on Tuesday night that his wife, Sara, falls into the walking lead-off batters type of love.
She took to Twitter and joked that she would consider filing for divorce after a rough two-thirds of an inning against the Braves that started with a lead-off walk.
From Outkick:
“0 times divorced, but if he keeps walking the lead-off batter, I’ll consider filing,” Sara, who married Robert in 2019, joked. She was clearly watching her husband because he walked Nick Markakis to start the 6th in a 2-2 game.
Here’s what followed:
Travis d’Arnaud singled to center, Markakis to second
Wild pitch, runners move up
Austin Riley singles to right, Markakis scores, d’Arnaud to third
Adam Duvall KO
Johan Camargo fouls out
Ender Inciarte infield single, d’Arnaud scores
Stock yanked

If you don't love this move then you're not a fan of sports. This is the type of stuff that I live for. Give me a wife can threatening to divorce their husband as they struggle on the field seven days a week.
Sara Stock officially has a new fan.
