From COED:
The St. Louis Cardinals are the latest MLB franchise to face an outbreak of the novel coronavirus and it turns out that recklessness from the players may have played a part. According to a report from MLB Network’s Jon Heyman, multiple players on the team had made the trip to a casino before the outbreak struck.
Initially, three Cardinals players and four staff members have tested positive for COVID-19. That number has since jumped to seven players and six staff members.
At least a couple Cardinals did go to a Casino, as @TheRealJHair 1st suggested. MLB has since tightened its rule on leaving the team hotel from very strongly discouraged to not allowed. Cards Covid count going into today: 3 players, 4 staff
