Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford was placed on the NFL's COVID-19 list on Saturday. He is the eighth Lions player to be placed on the list.
Players are put on the list if they have tested positive for COVID-19 or have been in close contact with someone who has. In order to come off of the list players must have two negative tests.
Stafford is the biggest name in the NFL to land on the list so far.

This is part of the world we live in right now. Players are going to test positive as they get out of their homes and receive more tests.
The NFL's challenge is going to be to keep an outbreak from happening. Let's hope they're successful, because we need a football season.
