Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys Are Reportedly Not Talking Ahead of Contract Deadline

Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys have until Wednesday afternoon to come to an agreement on a long-term deal.  That isn't expected to happen.

According to multiple reports, Dak and the Cowboys aren't currently discussing a new deal and Dallas gave their quarterback their final offer back in March.

That means Dak will play the 2020 season on a $31.4 million franchise tag and the two sides will have to wait until after the season to resume long-term contract talks.

That final offer was in the $33 to $35 million range per season and included $100 million guaranteed.

Dak is out of his mind if he thinks he's going to get a better offer than that.  He's playing a dangerous game with the Cowboys that could lead him to losing millions of dollars if he struggles in 2020.

There's a difference between having confidence in your ability and being too stupid to realize when you should take a deal.
