ESPN’s Ryan Leaf Was Arrested for Domestic Battery

The quarantine has been rough on all of us.

Former NFL bust and current ESPN analyst, Ryan Leaf, was arrested on Friday for misdemeanor domestic battery. The arrest took place around 2 p.m. in Palm Springs, California.

The former NFL quarterback was taken into custody around 2 PM PT on Friday, May 22nd.

According to jail records, he was booked for domestic battery -- and bail was set at $5,000.

Leaf is no stranger to being arrested. He's been arrested multiple times since his playing days ended for drug possession and burglary. He even spent time in prison as a result.

Who knows what this means for Leaf's future at ESPN, but it's certainly not a great look.

I bet there won't be wall-to-wall coverage of the arrest on The Worldwide Leader in Sports like would be if he wasn't employed by them.
