FC Seoul wanted to make their game this weekend against Gwangju FC feel a little more like the real thing, instead of a game played in an empty stadium. So they decided to use sex dolls, with what some are reporting as signage that promoted pornographic websites, to help fill out the stands.

In a statement released after their 1-0 victory, the club denied that the mannequins used for fans were sex dolls, but they still apologized for their use:
"We would like to apologise to the fans," FC Seoul said in a statement released on social media Sunday, translated by ESPN.
"We are very sorry about the supporting mannequins that were placed during the game on May 17. These mannequins may have been made to look and feel like real humans but they are not for sexual use—as confirmed by the manufacturer from the beginning.
"Our intention was to do something lighthearted in these difficult times. We will think hard about what we need to do to ensure that something like this never happens again."
Nothing kills a boner like an apology. The sex dolls in the stands were the most entertaining part of the 1-0 snoozefest the people at home had to endure.
The only thing FC Seoul should be apologizing for is not getting the full use out of the dolls by putting them in sexually suggestive situations. That's the real crime.
