This explains everything.
Jameis Winston went from the league's leading passer last season with the Buccaneers to a backup with the Saints. It wasn't the over 5,000 yards he threw for that was the issue.
Winston threw 30 interceptions with Tampa Bay last season. A lot of his struggles were blamed on his poor eyesight and his refusal to wear contact lenses during games.
He would often be seen squinting during games. We now know just how blind he truly was after Winston had Lasik surgery this offseason.
Prior to the laser eye surgery the former Bucs quarterback now admits he couldn't read street signs or license plates.

It's fucking crazy this guy played in the NFL and was pretty much blind. He's hoping New Orleans can revive his career, it sounds like if he would have had this procedure a few years ago he might still be a starter.
