A 49ers fan was found on the ground in the parking lot outside of SoFi Stadium on Sunday during the NFC Championship game between the 49ers and Rams.  The man, a restaurant owner in Oakland, suffered from multiple upper body injuries.  He's now in a medically induced coma.

From ABC7:

According to Inglewood police, L.A. County Fire responded to a call around 4:05 p.m. for reports of a man down in a parking lot.

When firefighters arrived on scene they discovered Oakland resident Daniel Luna on the ground and he was immediately taken to the hospital.

Inglewood police say they weren't alerted to the incident until hours later.

Authorities say Luna suffered numerous injuries to his upper body and was placed into a medically induced coma.

According to the LA Times, Luna is the owner of Mistura, a Peruvian restaurant in Oakland.

There was no word on whether or not Luna was beaten for being a 49ers fan.  Given the history between Los Angeles and San Francisco sports fans it certainly wouldn't be surprising.  Hopefully Luna is able to make a full recovery.
