The Matthew Stafford trade to the Rams from the Lions for Jared Goff is the first trade in what is expected to be a busy off-season for veteran quarterbacks. The current rumor has the 49ers making a strong push for Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins.
According to the latest rumor, the 49ers have offered Jimmy Garoppolo and multiple picks for Cousins. Minnesota is said to want a first-round pick to be included in the deal.
The San Francisco 49ers have offered their 2nd and 4th round draft picks, along with Jimmy Garoppolo to the Minnesota Vikings for Kirk Cousins.

49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan is a big Kirk Cousins fan, having coached him in Washington. The Vikings finished with a losing record but Cousins had a decent season in Minnesota.
Imagine being Goff and Jimmy G if he gets sent packing to the Midwest. Is there a bigger change than going from California to a place like Detroit or Minnesota?
